It’s really not the supplies that matter - it’s getting the stories and pictures out there. Supplies-wise I think that the most important thing is to find something that you’re comfortable working with. Try as many different techniques and supplies as you can - but don’t go buying a bunch of expensive junk just because someone else is using it. I haven’t really studied at any artschool… I studied animation for a year but other that that I’ve just been doing things on my own.
